For dry damaged hair, look for creamy shampoos. Do not opt for clear, translucent shampoos like Clairol Herbal Essences. A good brand is Vidal Sassoon. Look at the formula ingredients, you'll see that they use what is only necessary, in other words, basic ingredients for everyday wash that's for dry hair. (Why Im saying this is because some shampoos like Loreal use way too many ingredients, it scares you to think what synthetic poison your scalp is absorbing). Try this, I just advise on dry face. Mash papaya and apply on hair for 10 mins before you wash your hair. It is good for dry hairs and skin too.Apply little olive oil for spiting hair.
I think Dove is the best shampoo.
