  • For blonde hair (silver shampoo)?

right im looking at this silver shampoo for people who have dyed there hair blonde and its gone a brassy yellow colour. im about to buy it i just want to know if any1 has used it and does it work .. just to tel me abit more information about it. thanks. For blonde hair (silver shampoo)?
You can use it once a week or whenever you notice your blond getting brassy or yellow. They work really well and actually make your hair color look more fresh. I usually recommend Aveda Blue Malva or Clairol Shimmerlights, but there are others that work well also. For blonde hair (silver shampoo)?
A gentle cleanser formulated specifically to polish out unwanted brassiness from blonde, highlighted and silver hair.

I don't think it is for all of the time use...

You should read the label or talk to a stylist about the product. Some of them are diluted enough to use everyday, others are to use once every week or two. Read the label and see what it says.
Matrix carries a line that is for silver hair. I used to use it when I worked in a salon. It's purple shampoo but really helps to take the brassiness out or you can always go to a salon and have them put a toner on it.

    Good luck!
When I dyed my hair blonde I used the Sheer Blonde by John Fredia but that gets expensive so I switched to Pantene Pro-V for blondes. I liked them both a lot but I have never heard of the one you are talking about.
Yes, it is great for blonde hair that has gone brassy. It does come out of the bottle bright purple, so it is something that you should use in the shower. Leave it in your hair for 3-5 minutes and rinse. Use daily until you get the desired toning effect that you want. As maintenance use weekly. If you have really highlighted pieces that are WHITE be careful not to leave in for too long, as they can take on a lavender hughe. Only if they are WHITE.
    ITS BRILLIANT

What are the bad chemicals in shampoo for hairs?

I'm suffering from thinning and falling hair after taking medication for TB. It would have been helpful if my doc told me my hair will thinned and falled. it's already been 9 months and im done with the meds and now im trying to adopt a healthy way to shampoo my hairs. Im taking multivitamins and using regular strength Rogaine. But i want to find the right shampoo for my thin hair. Im trying to avoid shampoo with bad chemicals. Anyone can help me???What are the bad chemicals in shampoo for hairs?
sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate is bad for ur hair.

they use that chemical cz it makes it more soapy.

it can cause cancer. at least thats what i heard.

u can find it in soap and facial wash, too.

so i try to avoid products with those ingredients. What are the bad chemicals in shampoo for hairs?
i would look for a sulfate free organic shampoo. sulfates are a harsh chemical in shampoo that helps the shampoo to foam but are not necessary in order to clean the hair properly. organic shampoos tend to have less preservatives and other harsh dyes, fragrances and chemicals that regular shampoos have.
Once hair sprouts from ones scalp, the hair has died.

Use a shampoo and conditioner which is right for your type, i.e., oily hair, dry hair, etc.

In spite of paranoia to the contrary, shampoo companies want you to buy their products and so spend millions of dollars on R%26amp;D to make sure your hair looks and feels good.

Should we use natural organic products 4 EVERYTHING? skin, cleaning, etc. Organic shampoo leaves my hair oily!

Regular shampoo- I go at least a full day w/regular ';fresh'; hair, shall we say.

I used organic shampoo late last night and this morning I had such a horrible itchiness in my hair that I had to shower instantly!

    What is going on?

And do all products have so many toxins and chemicals that we should evolve completely into an all-out organic revolution?

Thanks.Should we use natural organic products 4 EVERYTHING? skin, cleaning, etc. Organic shampoo leaves my hair oily!
Hi, there. Using organic products is definitely better for you. But ... a lot of shampoos marked ';organic'; or ';all-natural'; actually contain many of the same toxic chemicals that off-the-shelf products do. Be sure to avoid any product containing Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfoacetate. Those products are known carcinogens that are absorbed by the body and which remain in one's system for over 10 years. As they accumulate, they have the capacity to become mutagenic and affect one's DNA.

Your itchy scalp the next day is probably a good indicator that you have a sensitivity/allergy to the product you tried. Try to find one that is as pure and simple as possible. A true Castille liquid soap should be good for your hair. Castille meaning that it's made out of Olive Oil and no other oils. If you can find a truly natural product that doesn't cause itching but does leave your hair a bit oily, try adding a few drops of tea tree oil to the bottle. You can also thin the shampoo with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Those aren't great remedies for the problem, but they will work.

As for the oiliness, I've had the same experience. One thing that might help is to rinse your hair in organic apple cider vinegar immediately after you shampoo. Use the cider as a rinse and then rinse with warm--not hot--water.

If you have access to any soapmakers in your area, I strongly recommend trying one of their shampoo bars or liquid soaps. I own an organic body care company, but you're best bet is to find someone local to you.

I feel your pain. Hang in there and keep searching. There are excellent products available!!

How often do you shampoo your hair?

u mite think eww but on days when the weather is normal i actually wash my hair every 3-4 days...this is bcause it is quite long and when it is greasy it suits me and i dont have to staighten it! Washing it every day for me is a chore hahaHow often do you shampoo your hair?
Every other day. If not my hair will start smelling funky and turn oily. Gross, right? Plus, by doing so, your hair won't turn too dry.How often do you shampoo your hair?
Every day, otherwise my hair gets weighted down with the amount of grease that accumulates over that short period of time
Every third day, it isnt good to wash it a lot because the hair looses its natural protection
My hair isn't extremely oily so i wash it every other day.
Every time I shower. Usually every day.
    EVERY SECOND DAY -
    Every 2-3 days.
once a month... lol joking atleast once a day...
every second day most of the time
    every second day.
    everyday
    every second day
    every 3rd day.
    10 times a day
    every time i shower
    every day
    everyday, i have oily hair
    every day
    At least once daily.

20 hairs is just......wtfI apply wax then after that i shampoo my hair i saw like 20 to 30 drop is this normal? or the wax problem?
A certain amount of your hair falls out every day. The wax sticks your hair together so it doesn't fall out naturally, only when you wash it you notice it. It looks like a lot because you see it all at once. It's completely normal

Anyone know any protein enriched and/or hair hydrating shampoos?

Here's the thing. I have thickish straight-wavy hair. I get splits a lot. My hair is dry and dehydrated and my hair isn't as strong as it used to be because it falls out more. I also like using the flat iron because it makes my hair more manageable and thin. And I'm only 14. Help?Anyone know any protein enriched and/or hair hydrating shampoos?
There are so many shampoo's and conditioner's out there, it's understandable why you would get confused. I would suggest going to your salon and asking your stylist what she recommends. I know that salon products are a little more expensive, but the results that you will see and feel will make a big difference. Even if you don't have a regular stylist, you can always visit any salon and they will be more than willing to help you.

Is there a shampoo out there that makes hair grow faster?

ive heard rumors tht mane and tail helps.. and also heard about aloe vera and b.b super groIs there a shampoo out there that makes hair grow faster?
mane and tail is full of wax and it builds up on your hair, weighing it down and keeping it coated with the paraffin-type build-up. It does nothing to help hair grow faster, no shampoo can do that, hair is a dead outgrowth and nothing put on those dead cells will have any effect on on the internal follicle and its speed of production for new hair growth.

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin

Try GNC, they make a supplement called ';Nourishair'; in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a ';Hair skin and nails'; formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. Is there a shampoo out there that makes hair grow faster?
no shampoos help hair grow faster. its more of the conditioners job to do the growing. find the right conditioner for you, and then use a lot of it, and then wrap it up with a swimming cap, or a towel and let it work over night. rinse in the morning and your hair will be healthy and over nurished, forcing your hair to grow. keep doing this for every night up to a week. i suggest conditioners from sunsilk, pantene pro-v, fructis and palmolive.
    NO just good diet+vitamins.

If you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?

It will help repair it and make it healthier looking

-RRZIf you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?
If your hair is in really bad conditioning from straightening then the best thing to do is have it cut. use an intensive/deep conditioner and leave it in for as long as you're able to.

i don't think the brand will make much difference. i use a variety and have never noticed a difference. just keep it well conditioned.

if you do want to straighten it, put hair product on first. this will ensure your product is burnt rather than your hair.If you stop straightening your hair, and use pantene shampoo and conditioner, does your hair repair itself?
No.Pantene does little to nothing. You can help it by putting olive oil on it for about 15-20 minutes before shampooing.Cut it short and keep trimming ends until new hair grows out.Intense conditioners can help a little but can be expensive. You must grow new ,healthy hair.
no, you need to do more than just a Pantene shampoo and conditioner to repair the hair that damage.First, trim your , and then use hair vitamin oils before you take a shower twice a week.
before you start using the pantene repair shampoo and conditioner you should get your hair trimmed which will make it easier for your hair to get repaired

but if you then you can all get a deep conditioner and put it in at night and sleep with it in then wash it out in the morning i do that and i have no split ends what so ever and my hair isn't dry.
Don't wash your hair every day.

If your hair gets greasy easily, only do the top and then wash out ...

    But condition every single day.

    There ya go.
Do not wash your hair daily. also sometimes my hair will love 1 brand, but not another. try switching brands. also cold water rinses help soften hair and smooth the hair shaft. also try apple cider vinegar rinses 2 tbls vinegar mixed with 2 cups of water and use as final rinse. do not rinse it out of your hair. it will smell vinegary until you hair is dry. this will add moisture and shine.

I've found that Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair system works!Sometimes it also helps if you don't blow dry your hair all the time and just let it air dry. What shampoo for swimmers hair?
    the best is this:

    http://www.ultraswim.com/

it takes all the chlorine out of you hair although it doesnt smell the best and doesnt give your hair the best moisture after using that shampo and conditioner you can put in some herbal essences conditioner

    or

(they smell so good and make you hair really soft!)

I put on shampoo and conditioner my hair is still dry?

what do i do and yes i left the conditioner in for 5 min and washed it outI put on shampoo and conditioner my hair is still dry?
Don't wash your hair every day.

If your hair gets greasy easily, only do the top and then wash out ...

    But condition every single day.

There ya go.I put on shampoo and conditioner my hair is still dry?
Do not wash your hair daily. also sometimes my hair will love 1 brand, but not another. try switching brands. also cold water rinses help soften hair and smooth the hair shaft. also try apple cider vinegar rinses 2 tbls vinegar mixed with 2 cups of water and use as final rinse. do not rinse it out of your hair. it will smell vinegary until you hair is dry. this will add moisture and shine.
Try hot oil treatment, here's how to do it:

WELLA SP 3.1 HYDRO MASK (Various Sizes)

you put this on like a face mask for you hair.

    works a treat

also last for a long time so doesn't need to be used every day :D
You shouldn't wash your hair daily.

but if you then you can all get a deep conditioner and put it in at night and sleep with it in then wash it out in the morning i do that and i have no split ends what so ever and my hair isn't dry.

Dry tangled up hair....recommend a good shampoo and conditioner please?

I have shoulder lenghth highlighted hair thats very dry and brittle, gets tangled easily, what shampoos are good? available in uk...don't mind how much I spend on them .Dry tangled up hair....recommend a good shampoo and conditioner please?
Before forking out a plethora of money for more chemicals for your hair...try this simple trick.

Back in my Madonna days (my punk 80's!!) (ok so I never left my punkness with hair now being red and orange!!) my hair was (still is!!) bleached gelled fried and burnt from products sun and curling irons and hair dryer. I went to a wonderful hairdresser that gave me a terrific hint.

    Mayonnaisse.

Not a lot! About a tablespoon full. Rub into your hair then cover it with plastic (bag, shampoo cap anything). Leave it for about 2-3 hours.

Yeah it smells horrid by then. A good through washing, several actually to get it out and your hair will be soooooooo soft and silky again.

Hint: do NOT put a LOT on or get it on your scalp or you will be scrubbing for hours!

Then, I know they have Paul Mitchell here. Try his products. Bed head is good. TreSomme is great. Aussie is great. Just make sure what ever it is that you use, the first 5 ingredients is not alcohol.

Everyone's hair is different. Find what your flavour is and change it once in a blue. Also because conditioner can build up, try a rinse once every two weeks with either vinegar or beer. Sounds weird I know but they really do help cleanse out the scalp and hair follicles. It also puts a bit of bounce in my natural curls.

Good luck!! xXxDry tangled up hair....recommend a good shampoo and conditioner please?
Avon conditioners. I've got shoulder length hair that got loads of knots in when I'd washed my hair.

Avon conditioners are really good at getting rid of knots and tangles when you've washed it and when you brush it later on. I bought mine from Avon because they don't test on animals but when I used it I found that it was much easier and less painful to brush my hair. I use Avon's jasmine and lemongrass conditioner. It's not expensive either.
Don't do the reconstructing shampoos they have too much alcohol in them, and make your hair break off even more. Get a good moisturizing shampoo, and a deep conditioner. I don't know if they carry the redken all soft line there. It is made for dry hair that needs moisture, and if you have a sally beauty supply you should try the ion brand deep moisture conditioner. It's one that you should use three times a week. (Use a regular condtioner on off days.)
redken are amazing, whatever condition your hair is in they will make it shiny and glossy. theyre usually out of most peoples price ranges but since you dont mind, i definitely give them two thumbs up.

and anything really with the words 'intense moisturising', 'damage repair' and 'for dry brittle hair' will do your hair some good.
I have dry hair which is naturally curly too, and I straighten it, but hairdresser always remarks its shining and in top condition, I use Pantene Pro V for dry damaged hair at around £1.69 for shampoo and same for conditioner it won't break the bank!
I have a . good suggestion to give..it will def help ur hair irrespective of the brand of shampoo

Instead of applying the conditioner after shampoo...dliute and apply it on ur hair half hr before shampoo..comb it well thru hair and then shampoo...whoa ul see a markeddd difference believe me
if you don't mind how much you spend i would recommend the redkin all soft range.it's amazing.you can but it online or hair salons that stock it here in the uk.
Aussie miracle moist shampoo and conditioner.
loreal products are good. theres a line called serie... just one below kerastase. they're shampoo and conditioners are great.
    Aussie Shampoo And Conditioner
Treseme is really good but also you should use a deep conditioning treatment at least once a week
I have the same sort of hair but found recently that 'Treseme' worked really great %26amp; left it soft %26amp; shiny :)
I agree with Nina. Aussie shampoos are really great and you can pick which one is right for your hair.
Try a porduct called line called Mane and Tail.

  • Best shampoo for oily hair and hairloss?

Horse Shampoo get in a Wal-mart in cheap and works better than anything else!!! Do not let thoses morons sucker you into anything else.

WahoBest shampoo for oily hair and hairloss?
I don't know about oily hair, but as far as hairloss goes, make sure the ph is not excessively high. Shampoo like Pantiene has a very high ph (around 13 or somthing) This alone can cause your hair to fall out. Try somthing more ph balanced (7) like bed head (i am sure there are cheaper brands with a balanced ph too)Best shampoo for oily hair and hairloss?
Oily hair does several things that prevent proper hair growth including become hard and blocking the hair from respiration or breathing properly to reproduce. It also blocks the blood flow when it becomes hard. Sebum is sticky and attracts dirt. Scalp oils should be irrigated from the follicle but very few products can do this. Hair Energizer deep cleansing shampoo can do just this!

Hair needs vitamins and heavy proteins!

Hair grows fast with hair energizer vitamins, vitamin shampoo and silk protein conditioner.

Many hair products damage hair with harsh surfactants found in cheaper or drug store products. Ours are gentle but very effective for cleansing impurities and adding unprecedented amounts of nutrition to the hair making it healthier in a short period of time
    Lemon Shampoo
My hair was oily until I started using a moisturizing shampoo. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but it works. Just like they say to moisturize oily skin. It makes the hair more healthy and it is able to contain its oils, rather than push them out. Like dumping water on arid soil- it just rolls off, but if you moisturize the soil first, it will absorb the water. I use Finesse moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner for my no-longer oily, but thin hair. I find it appears to have more body when it is healthy too.
We absolutely LOVE Revivogen BioCleansing Shampoo. My husband's hair has stopped falling out since we've been using it, and my hair is thicker and fuller, too. The only place I know to purchase it is online at Revivogen.com

They also have a Revivogen Scalp Therapy, which is excellent in inhibiting hair loss. Go to their website and read about it. We don't bother with their ';hair thickening conditioner.'; The products are expensive, so if you have to start with only one, I would try the shampoo ($20.00).

    Leg hair removal shampoo?

well i remember watching this commercial about this shampoo that washes away leg hair and i was wondering if anyone knew what it was called and if it actually does work

    orrr

if theres a kind of shampoo that can get rid of arm/pits/leg/body/leg hair permanently or gets rid of itLeg hair removal shampoo?
It's basically chemicals that dissolve your hair and damage your skin. Get a wax more painful but worth it.Leg hair removal shampoo?
It is not shampoo my dear but depilatory cream. Some can be used while showering (means can stay on skin even with water going over them), some others not. And they don't remove hair from their roots so they will still grow out as fast as if you use a razor

Is there any shampoo that makes your hair grow and does it work??

is there a non-perscription shampoo that can make your hair grow??? does it work too???Is there any shampoo that makes your hair grow and does it work??
There is no such thing as a topical agent that will make your hair grow. In other words, nothing you put on your hair or scalp will accelerate the growth process.

Shampoos, conditioners, and lotions that claim to grow your hair are just saying that they will make your hair stronger and break off less often. This way, you will gain precious inches on your hair length instead of it breaking off at the ends. People make the mistake of thinking that their hair does not grow just because it won't gain length, but the problem is not the rate of growth it is the rate of breakage. Is there any shampoo that makes your hair grow and does it work??
I too have heard of using mane and tail shampoo... Honestly though, I don't know of any shampoo that ';makes'; your hair grow. I do know that cutting your hair on certain days can encourage or retard hair growth. Check out the farmer's almanac for more!

(My mom swears by this, and have tried it a few times and it does seem to be accurate. Supposedly it goes by the moon phases)
I use Lush new shampoo and it stimulates hair growth, I am happy with the results: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>
Nioxin. You get it at beauty supply stores. I was bald from doing chemo and my hair grew back so fast and so thick, people are amazed. I tell you right now, that stuff does the trick.

I tried everything else and nothing worked. Nioxin is the way. Take it from the chemo girls, we should know.
    Dove, Pantene...works 4 me!

My hair is very thin. What shampoo or product will thicken it, drastically?

Mane n' Tail shampoo and conditioner, also makes it feeling silky and smells nice ;)

i use it and i have thick hair!My hair is very thin. What shampoo or product will thicken it, drastically?
unfortunatley, i don't think there are any products out there to drastically thinken hair. i had very thin hair for years and hated it, i tried eveything you could possibly think of that never worked. i finally just got a perm a couple years ago. and although it deff thinkened my hair, it absolutley killed it, and its still completley fried. i would suggest just trying to scrunch it with hair spray gel (my favorite is loreal paris..the ';new studio tightly wound) to make it appear fuller.

What brand of shampoo/conditoner do you think will work with dry/damaged hair?

i have dry, damaged hair that has lots of split ends and fly aways. i need help. What brand of shampoo/conditoner do you think will work with dry/damaged hair?
I would recommend salon products such as Kenra and Redkin. They are quite expensive (approx 20.00 for both shampoo %26amp; conditioner combined), but don't use them all the time. Maybe like once a week just to try to help your hair. If you're looking for a store brand I would recommend Pantene Pro-V. They have a line that's especially for your hair color and type. I haven't had a problem with that, but then again my hair hasn't been though any coloring treatments such as hair dye. I've just had it highlighted all the time. Depending on your hair type or what you had done to it, I would just go buy a small bottle of name brands that you know and see which one works the best on you. You can always go into any hair salon and try getting expert advice on it, to where they can look at your hair to see how dry it is because alot of the shampoo's that I've tried for dry hair just makes it really oily, dirty, and frizzy looking and doesn't help. And for the spilt ends - there's really no repairing that. You will have to get them cut off or they will get worse. I hope that I've been of some help to you, and Good luck! What brand of shampoo/conditoner do you think will work with dry/damaged hair?
get the one with the kangaroo on it...you know...the purple one. i think on the front it says silk (in light blue letters) or something. or get the mega one....it seems to work nice
Most dove products can help treat damaged hair. I use it all the time and its great ;]
Pantene Pro-V; Dove; or maybe Salon products like Kenra; i've tried all of them and there really good; you just need to find that right type for your hair.
Pantene Pro-V they have one that really helps for damage hair my cousin use it and it works for her. go to Pantene.com they suggest that you use Pantene pro v Restoratives.
    Dove's Advance Care Moisture.
    first remove your damage ends.

try mane 'n tail shampoo and conditioner. there great products.
Biolage has great products for dry hair. Try some Biosilk too. It helps with the split ends. But first get a trim to cut all the split ends.
Go to the vitamin shoppe and purchase the jojoba shampoo and conditioner. Total will cost you 7 bucks. It contains nothing but natural ingredients to help you hair. Aubrey Organics also makes some great natural shampoos and conditioners at the shoppe but these can be more expensive. Also, every week mash up an avacdo and mix with olive oil and one egg.Leave on hair overnight with a showercap and shampoo out in the morning. Follow with the jojoba conditioner. This will help.

Also do weekly jojoba oil (purchase at the vitamin shoppe) hot oil treatment.
Right now I am using the new Herbal Essences. It is teh one in the blue bottles. For cheap shampoo and conditioner, it works really good. It makes my hair feel really smooth, no frizz. For more expensive, trying using Rusk products. Those are the best ones I have found for that type of hair.
    TreSemme (i can't spell...srry)
Tresemme is cheap and good. If you want to pay more, than the absolute best shampoo for damaged hair is BIOSILK. It is expensive, but amazing. I dye my hair every six weeks or so and it keeps my hair looking healthy and shiny.
Dove's Advance Care Moisture and Pantene ProV

    They helped me! =)

Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:

*Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings by region here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons

    *Don't shampoo every day.

*Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.

*Never use a brush, only a comb, or better yet fingers, when wet.

*Apply styling products to dripping wet hair

*Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don鈥檛 know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

*Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber or tshirts instead.

*Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.

*Don't touch your hair while it鈥檚 drying.

For specific products for your hair type you might want to explore the forums at:

    http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/

There you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products. So that鈥檚 really useful.

Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It鈥檚 pretty radical鈥攏o sulfates (shampoo) or silicones鈥攂ut it鈥檚 so great for curly hair. Matrix has a sleek line that works very well. They also have a leave-in spray that will help. Finally, a spray wax will help tame the flyaways. I like Bed HEad.
i havee very frizzy hair but if you use herbal essances hello hydration and blow dry then strighten it it will havee absolty no frizz

i use a chi hair dryer and strightner.

try a serum. I like organixx coconut milk...its a clear serum, it ss good and you only need about a

dime sized amount to cover your

head...its like 6 dollars and you can get it from local drug stores... it also strengthens your hair. ***straightening causes breakage, bit it helps fly aways and a little bit of frizz
I think you should try herbal essences none of your frizzness smoothing leave in creme because it is perfect for flyaways and is perfect to use after you blowdry or straighten your hair. You also could try their shampoo and conditioner. I haven't tried it though so im not sure how well it works.
have you try'd Herbal Essences Dangerously straight? shampoo and conditioner? I have curly hair and that is what I use and it works pretty darn good. use it in combination with the rest of the dangerously straight line and that may work it did for me! it is new!

The absolute best is Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair or craete frizz, plus...it smells AWESOME! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Rite-Aid, etc. You'll love it!!!

    http://organixhair.com

    .
there's Herbal Essences shampoo/condition package. theres some for straight hair, color treated hair, stuff like that.

and if you straighten your hair, just keep using your straightener, but use LOREAL'S Thermal Creations something or another. It's to smooth out frizz and keep your hair shiny and pretty.

Biolace products work really well too.
    use water or hair oil
I have SUCH frizzy hair. I suffered all through junior high and finally my sister saved me. Now people comment on how silky my hair is, however when they see me right after blow drying they are amazed at how poofy it is!

Find a smoothing cream (not serum or mousse or any of that) My favorite is Garnier Fructis Style : Sleek %26amp; Shine anti-humitidy styling cream in a squeeze bottle. Put that and any kind of John Frieda Spray leave in conditioner or straightening assistant (even if you are straightening your hair) in your hair after your shower. Apply the cream all day and use a tiny bit of hair spray.

This is what I do for my thick, frizzy, resistant hair.

    Good luck!!

Also, try scrunching then using the cream after it is dry.
Biosilk hair serum! I have thick poofy, mainly frizzy in the back kind of hair. The Biosilk (only use a little) puts it at bay and makes my hair look shiny too.

Wash your hair less often. You can wet it in the shower but don't shampoo it, just condition it.
I totally understand. There are two products that solves the problem.

First, use a dab of LOMA imply, this is a molding cream but doesn't make your hair feel like wax or crispy, it stays soft and refreshing.

Then, use a puddle/dab of BIOSILK which you can get at costco for a good price. This seals the hair to make sure every strand of hair is shiny, silky, and no fly aways.

LOMA imply and BIOSILK are both good prices and the best products to prevent frizzy hair, I use both and my hair is beautiful. You don't have to straighten your hair at all and those products are the only products i use in my hair, I'm sure it will work.

Have fun with gorgeous hair and i hopee I helped.
have you tried sunsilk? that really works for me :]
hey my name's jenna too! i have curly hair and use sunsilk and hello hydration by herbal essences. you should only shampoo maybe 3 or 4 times a week b/c shampoo tends to scuk the moisture out of hair. in between you should CONDITION a lot. also use a deep moisturizing conditioner once a week.i use frizz-ease by john frieda but you should try out a lot of different products and find the one that works for you! also don't even bother wearing your hair out on really humid days!
My hair is also, but I leave about a dime size amount of conditioner in my hair, then style as usual and it keeps the frizz at bay!
add smoothing serum and straighten your hair
john frieda frizz ease serum is fabulous.

also, brush very gently, and use a natural hair brush. if you have tangles use your fingers or a wide tooth comb. try a heat protecter spray before you straighten.

Wash your hair a little less, and leave your conditioner on longer.

I just bought the biotin vitatress shampoo by nexxus. Anyone used it? Is it a good shampoo for black hair?

What shampoo makes your hair smell AMAZING?!?

I use herbal essences coconut and orchid, but I'm always looking for something better! Any suggestions? What shampoo makes your hair smell AMAZING?!?
VO5 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Squeeze. It's $1! Who knew???What shampoo makes your hair smell AMAZING?!?
I remember a shampoo I bought from an haridressing salon years ago but I don't remember the brand - it smelt of apples and that is a very nice aroma for freshly washed hair. Any coconut oil based shampoo also imparts a nice aroma to the hair and it also promotes gloss. I don't use top-branded products however as they are not likey to be cruelty free. Opt for one from a health store as they are likely to be cruelty free, better for your scalp and most likely contain essential oils/fruit essences that give a nice aroma to the hair. Also, if they don't contain sodium lauryl sulphate they will be a whole lot kinder to your scalp, thus less likely to cause dandruff.
I love the smell of Tigi S factor. Its a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Also I loove the smell of Matrix Sleek, It has more of a perfumy smell.

Lotus Blossom... I bet you may be thinking of Apple Pectin...if you ever see these answers it smells GREAT! :) If it was after that it could be Apple Ginseng.
OOMG, I know it sounds stupid but Alberto VO5 has many new scents that stay in my hair all day. They have flowery scents, pomegranite, and all kinds of stuff. It's CHEAP and they don't test on animals. It smells awesome.

Another brand is Back to Basics, they have great stuff and they aren't animal testers too.Herbal Essence tests and so does fructis.

    Don't torture an animal!
I LOVE the way thermasilk makes a persons hair smell :) But garneir fuctis has this antifrizz serum stuff that I put in my hair before it dries (sometimes after) and it smells SOOOO good...smells better than any shampoo would make it smell :)
my g-ma got my sister and i that Aussie shampoo and conditioner. it makes your hair so smooth, and leaves it smelling awesome. my friends even compliment on my hair now.
    Well I love Sunsilk!

It does what it was made for as well as having a great smell.

I have thin, flat hair and it is immediately picked up.

I recommended the one for dry, damaged hair to my mom and she LOVES it.
My hair? I don't care, as long as it's clean. My wife's hair? Herbal Essences - with either peach or strawberry. Anything Satsuma scented is awesome too. I used to like the smell of VO5.
The other herbal essences are INCREDIBLE.

They make it so gorgeous and fruity!

Garnier fructuis (sp?) is also really good!
Palmers Coconut Shampoo - Not only does it smell good but it also restores damaged hair. Coconut oil is the BEST thing you could ever put on your hair!!!!
well stick with herbal essences but go 4 the the shampoo and conditionaer with roses in its in a pink bottle it is smells sooo nice.
Garnier Fructis leaves my hair smelling amazing for a longggg while :)

Pantene Pro-V is pretty good too.
    Bath and Body Works.

got Chocolate shampoo during Christmas time. also in the same kit came caramel body wash!

    yummy!
    AUSSIE!!! its amazing.

Sammy Smooth in the pink bottle.

    it is delicious

Is there a shampoo that curls straight hair?

i have really straight hair is their a shampoo that makes perfect curlsIs there a shampoo that curls straight hair?
If your hair is naturally straight, no product (except a perm) will change that. If you have a bit of curl, you can find shampoos and gels that help encourage your hair to curl.Is there a shampoo that curls straight hair?
There is no shampoo that gives you curly hair, don't waste your money trying to find one. You would have to curl it yourself. The shampoo for curly/wavy hair wouldn't help unless you already have curly/wavy hair. There are styling products though that can help give the allusion of curly hair if you style it correctly.
Most brands have shampoos and conditioner for wavy/curly hair. If you use them, your hair will turn wavy or curly. Also when you get out of the shower you can put in some curling mousse and cfurl sculpting gel.

    :) hope i helpeddd.
i think there are some gels you can just run through you hair or sprays that makes it curly but tell me if you find a shampoo that does :)

having really straight hair sux :(

    Do Hair Growth Shampoo's Work?

Well my hair is already past my colar-bone and I want it longer but my hair takes a REALLY long time to grow out. So I was wondering if the Hair Growth shampoo's really work? And if you have tried some hair growth shampoo's and they worked what brand did you use? And how long until you started seeing results?

    Thanks for all Your Answers!!

    Do Hair Growth Shampoo's Work?
YES, it works! You should try Mane N Tail shampoo and conditioner (found at Walmart, $12 for both 32 oz. shampoo and conditioner). I wanted to grow my hair long last summer--my hair used to grow super slow too-- so I tried it. My hair went from 2 to 6 inches below my shoulders in 3 months! Thats a total of 2 inches a month! The average growth is only 1/2 inch per month (talk about an improvement)! No one could even believe how long my hair had grown in that short period of time. I could tell it was the shampoo, because when I decided to try another, my hair stopped growing as fast. My sister has really thick hair, and when she used it, it didn't do anything but make it softer and smoother (and longer). Anyway, you should definately try it!Do Hair Growth Shampoo's Work?
uhmmm theres a product called mane 'n tail... and its actually for both animals and humansss...

and i mean, its not a miracle grower or anything but i once had the same problem as you and i ordered it off the mane n tail website and it really did help.

and i also had very thin hair that was really fin and it made it a lot thicker and healthier looking and it grew wayyy faster than it naturally would.

it still took quite some time though.

gooood luck. i hope you find something that works for youuuu
Hair growth shampoos do work because they make your hair stronger. and when your hair is stronger it grows faster.

I like the garnier fructis length and strength shampoo and conditioner. I did notice a difference after about a month of using it.

Mane and tail doesn't work that great how everyone says.

I also like the new pantene beautiful lengths.

    hope this helps.
I was skeptical about Mane and tail until I bought it to try it out and it really does work, I got my hair cut short and it grew a lot with the shampoo, I know shampoo, can't really make your hair grow, but it really did help.
Professionally....Nioxin has a great regime for growing hair. I have had a number of my clients use it and love it. I have seen the lasting results.
I'm not sure. I was told they don't but I'm using beautiful lengths so I hope it helps but I've been only using it for 3 days. So i'm not all that sure.
I suggest Mane%26amp; Tail. It's used for horses but humans use it to because it makes their hair grow super long super fast. That's what I used%26amp; now my hair is really long.
mane n tail works...its a horse shampoo but it works fast and it makes your hair thicker
When i can get my check cashed i wanted to get Tht new Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths. N i have a good feeling about it

To Pass a Hair Drug Test w/ the Special Shampoo, How Long Do I have to NOT Smoke Weed to Pass, weeks, days???

This question isn't for me, it's for my friend and Yes, I know they shouldn't smoke at all , but they do. We know people who have passed using the shampoo, but they were clean for like 3wks to a month so does anyone know from experience or knowledge if you have to avoid smoking pot for that long before buying the pass a drug test shampoo for a hair test or can you even pass w/ smoking a week before the test? thanks...To Pass a Hair Drug Test w/ the Special Shampoo, How Long Do I have to NOT Smoke Weed to Pass, weeks, days???
Hair tests detect metabolates of drugs that grow into the hair (as the hair grows, it essentially marks when drug use occurred) NOT smoke in the hair. THC (pot) metabolates are found in urine for 30 days after consumption (this can extend to as long as 11 weeks for regular/heavy users). The hair tests are frequently used to determine if it has been smoked in the past, even if the urine is clean.

No shampoo will make you test negative, if you had a friend who tested negative with a ';follicle'; test, then they were looking for more recent use (within 3-4 weeks ago) and shampoo had NOTHING to do with it.

There is one way to pass the hair test if you are still currently smoking - shave off all your hair the day of the test. It will look suspicious, and you will be considered to be refusing the test (which is an automatic positive), but they won't get evidence of drug use from your hair.To Pass a Hair Drug Test w/ the Special Shampoo, How Long Do I have to NOT Smoke Weed to Pass, weeks, days???

I don't know what the special shampoo is but my guess is that whomever is selling it is taking your money. I would think that it the hair follicle tests ingestion rather than weed smoke in the hair (if you get my meaning).

We've just introduced drug testing for car drivers here, authorities say it takes about 30 days to clear the system so your friends probably would have escaped detection without the shampoo.

    FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

    Tension

    Too much work

    Illness

    Poor diet

    Over-exposure to the sun

    Perming

    Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 隆V if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

    Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

    Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

    Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours.

    ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

    Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

    Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

    Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

    Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.
Hair loss shampoos do not work. Take it from a balding hairstylist I know. I've tried them all including Nioxin.

The only product proven to regrow hair is Minoxidil, this is the active ingredient in Rogaine.

Don't waste your money, take it from someone who has.

Is there any essential oil i can put in my shampoo to help with hair growth?

Sometime's treating the problem from the inside is the way to go. Topical treatments don't always produce the desired effects ( just my opinion). My advice would be to take a really good Multi-vitamin + calcium supplement. This can really help your hair grow!! I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't take a vitamin supplement but just in case you could check with you Dr. first. Is there any essential oil i can put in my shampoo to help with hair growth?
there's almost none of oil blends that you hope to help your hair grows...the key is the nutrition inside your body...boost up with good food and the special one that can nurse you hair..or suppliment for hair, nail and skin...topical use of oil blend can help with the dryness but not hair growth. Also you might want to look up the cause that makes your hair slowly grows...stress? not enough nutrition? deficient blood? sleepless? in any medication? those can cause the hair loss.

I suggest you put a high Nitrogen food - like cerery, green leafy veggie, and your hair needs mineral..distilled water has zero mineral...silica-from horsetail or others, is a key for hair, you can suppliment it, 5 mg a day is nice. Biotin- B Vitamin family, helps nursing you hair root. If you're not sure if you have enough vitamin and mineral, you can suppliment it...there are so many good multivitamin daily one a day...eat good food helps keeping your inner and outter beauty. Is there any essential oil i can put in my shampoo to help with hair growth?
Vitamin E no other place to look..but that!
oil tea oil tree....1 of them
use Biore` its expensive but it works!40.00 for a bottle of conditioner and 39.98 for shampoo im rich so oi get any thing!
there is a lady on ebay that sells bes oil it works great! makes your hair thicker and grow faster
